LEADING THE ACTION SR392
This course will improve the student's leadership skills by improving
his ability to persuade and articulate. The student will gain
competence in coaching and be able to demonstrate skills in gaining
commitment.

All managers
PREREQUISITES:
None
STUDENT PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
o Convincingly articulate the difference between managing and leading
as verifiable skills.
o Demonstrate the difference between agreement and commitment.
o Articulate the business need for leadership and commitment in one's
work group.
o Demonstrate compelling competence aat obtaining commitments
o Demonstrate competence in coaching skills
o Eliminate empty "non-words" in their communications
